This month, the mid-week meetup for the Essex region will be at: TwoBrews, Colchester.

This is the usual ad-hoc meetup, no agenda, just bring your best beer, food samples and banter.

The Q2 Malt challenge is on, so bring your challenge beers for feedback or if you’ve not brewed for the challenge, but you still have something to bring along, please do, we will still have the legendary Any Other Beer (AOB) tasting.

This month, the mid-week meetup for the Essex region will be at: The Victoria Inn Colchester. We’ll be in the upstairs room so we can hear what we’re saying, as it’s Open Mic (not Magic Mike) night.

This is the usual ad-hoc meetup, no agenda, just bring your best beer, food samples and banter.

This month, the mid-week meetup for the Essex region will be at: The Odd One Out, Colchester.

This is the usual ad-hoc meetup, no agenda, just bring your best beer, food samples and banter.

NOTE: This will be your last chance for a preliminary tasting of the Maldon Brewery Clone beer, so if you are attending this event and have brewed a clone, please bring a bottle or two along with you. If you’ve not brewed for the challenge, but you still have something to bring along, please do, we will still have the legendary Any Other Beer (AOB) tasting.

2025 ACB AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Anglian Craft Brewers will be held at the Red Lion, Manningtree, Essex on Saturday 2nd November 2024 from 12 noon.

Agenda will be confirmed on the day. The below is the basic framework we’ll work to:

  • Regional organisers & committees
  • 2025 plans:
    • Major events (Calendar events via website)
    • Monthly meetings (Calendar events via website)
    • Beer Challenges (tbc – add to website to show quarterly beer style)

    • Social Media (Facebook group/Twitter (X))
    • Slack
    • Thank organisers for the events of 2024.
  • Any Other Business

Please note this is the AGM with a full agenda, so we will NOT be tasting our beers at the pub.
