This month, the mid-week meetup for the Essex region will be at The Hop Shop in Chelmsford, our new permanent home for the Chelmsford Essex mid week meetings.

This is the usual ad-hoc meetup, no agenda, just bring your best beer, food samples and banter.

The Q4 Yeast Challenge is on going Q4 Beer Challenge – Yeast if you have brewed a beer feel free to bring it along, also bring anything else you want to get feedback on as we will still have the legendary Any Other Beer (AOB) tasting.

Please register, so we have an idea of numbers.

Essex Mid-Week September 2025

This month, the mid-week meetup for the Essex region will be at the Odd One Out in Colchester, our new permanent home for the Colchester Essex mid week meetings.

This is the usual ad-hoc meetup, no agenda, just bring your best beer, food samples and banter.

The Q4 Yeast Challenge begins, as no one is sure what that challenge is I doubt there will be any beers for this meetup, but if you have something else to bring along, please do, we will still have the legendary Any Other Beer (AOB) tasting.

We will be gathering questions for the AGM and as autumn is starting, we will have a round table discussion on how to brew your best English Bitter which is the perfect pint for this time of year (in this authors opinion anyway!)
