The Batemans Brewery Tour
The Batemans Brewery Tour is planned for 12th September 2026 hosted by Visitor Centre Manager.
The clone beer challenge to be brewed for the visit is 5G first brewed by Batemans 2 years ago to celebrate their 150th anniversary.
The beer is Light Amber colour IPA 4.2%, 21 colour, 36 IBU’s and contains Fuggles, Harlequin and Olicana hops.
Batemans also have a campsite and can group us together if you plan to pitch up.

I keep trying to contact them about the start time but no response so I will keep trying and if no answer I am arriving in Wainfleet this afternoon to stay at The Woolpack. I can walk to the brewery later today.
What is the latest you need to know?
All good for Saturday tour starts at 12 noon until 2-2.30pm then our 5G clone tasting at the brewery afterwards.
FYI booked into the Woolpack today and the 5G is very nice, fruity sweetness up front slick smoothness possibly from the oats and softness from the newer varieties of English hops – come on down 😀
