Anglian Craft Brewers Presents Homebrew Competition Number 7 – Brewers of the Realm 2026

The main judging date for the 2026 ACB homebrew competition “Brewers of the Realm” is planned in for November 21st 2026. The event is being held in the upstairs function room at The Victoria Inn, Colchester.

We need volunteers to judge and help stewarding on the day as well as help with the organisation of the competition. Please sign up and register on the competition website when you sign up

This year’s theme, Brewers of the Realm, celebrates the rich brewing traditions and BJCP styles of the Commonwealth. Whether you’re brewing a classic British Bitter, Irish Stout, Australian Sparkling Ale, New Zealand Pilsner, or another Commonwealth-inspired style, we’d love to see your beer on the judging table.

Our competition is judged under the BJCP system by experienced judges, giving every entrant detailed feedback to help improve their brewing. Whether you’re entering your first competition or chasing another medal, it’s a fantastic opportunity to benchmark your beer against some of the UK’s best homebrewers.
