Cuckoo

In an attempt to make a black lager this recipe was loosely based on Incendiary Schwartzbier from the July 2023 issue of Beer & Brewing Magazine. The colour is a guess due to a use up of Carafa I, II & III.

The beer won the dark lager table and took 3rd Best of Show at the 2024 Lager than Life competition run by London Amatuer Brewers.
