ACB June Meeting (Colchester)

Join us for the June monthly meeting at the “Oddie”, a mere 5-minute walk from Colchester Town railway. The Odd One Out (maybe we should call it “OOO…”) has a wonderful beer garden and lovely, large, covered table that we can reserve if the weather is nice enough.

Please register your interest so we can gauge how many bottles each brewer needs to bring, usually 2x 500ml is advised regardless.

1. Arrive 12:00…Meet, buy beer from the bar
2. Introductions, ACB Homebrew Competition Update
3. Small IT Update
4. Talk – tbc
5. Lunch (typically around 1pm), including buying more beer from the bar
6. Q2 – Malt Challenge Tasting
7. Shed Brewers Festival – debrief
8. Charles Farham Hop Challenge update.
9. Brewing Small Beers – a round table discussion on successful techniques for brewing small (<3% ABV) beers
10. AOB – feel free to bring examples of your homebrew for feedback or advice.
11. Buy more beer from the bar
12. Head off home or for a curry (including more beer).
