ACB Suffolk (Saturday) meeting
Our new venue for this meeting will be the award winning Walnut in Stowmarket (Ipswich & East CAMRA Urban Pub & Cider Pub of the Year). Landlord Ivan offers an interesting range of cask, keg, bottles, cans & ciders. The Walnut is a wet led pub (no food), but Ivan is happy for us to order in or the local chip shop is a few minutes away (as is the excellent Redfort curry restaurant).
Your Chair for the day will be former Suffolk Chair Peter Burgess as both James & Nick are not around on the day.
Agenda will include a presentation on cask ale by Nik Leng – useful for those who have never casked their beer before, an update on ACB Events comig up over the next few months (Shed Brewers Festival, Clone beer competition & brewery visit, Home brew competition, etc.), etc.
Feel free to bring beers as normal (the pub are fine with this).
